Antibody Modifications

Antibody Affinity Maturation

The antibodies can be affinity matured by chain shuffling ( for scFv )  or CDR mutation ( camelids and scFv) and converted to bi specific, bi valent or to tetra valent formats to increase their affinity and specificity. Their solubility can be increased and they can be humanized by making specific amino acid substitutions.

Antibody Reformating

The VHH or the scFv, can be formatted to a full length antibody by fusing it to the Fc part or in a Fab format using vectors we have in our possession as required for transient expression in mammalian CHO or HEK 293 cell lines and insect cell lines through baculovirus expression system. They can also be conjugated to larger proteins to increase their half life.
